I am using the Pegasus 2 R4 with the 2018 macbook Pro 15" Unfortunately I do need to hand my old laptop back to management shortly so will not be able to access any data at all on my drive. I have already returned the adapter to apple once and even the new adapter continues to have the same problem. If I connect to my old macbook pro with the same thunderbolt cable I have no issues at all. I have all the latest drivers installed but this is so frustrating that I have lost many hours of work due to this issue. I also have the same problem - I have just purchased a new macbook pro brand new thunderbolt cable and adapter from apple (as per the compatability list) and am continually having the drive disconnect or not connect at all.
